Short Description:
As a Polish/Russian mix he has blonde hair and blue eyes, relatively pale skin and is very athletically toned.

Full Description:
He stands at 6 feet tall. His nose is slightly crooked due to having broke his nose — along with many other bones — when he was 18 and it’s been that way since. He has six tattoos. One tribal dragan on his arm. Another tattoo on his hip has the words 'Carpe Diem' written. He has a tattoo on his calf which has a blue-colored amazonian woman and then his parents names are on each of his shoulder, with the name of his twin also on his ankle. The tattoo with his twins name has a lock, in which his twin has the key.

Personality:
The most important thing about Axel is that he won't listen to anybody. He won't allow people telling him what to do. He will ignore anyone trying to do so and it really doesn't help his opinion of you. Punish as they may, Axel does what he wants to do. The tattoo on his hip says 'Carpe Diem', latin for 'seize the day'. He'll do this and he'll do it to the max, pushing everyone in his wake. He can't let things go and is incredibly stubborn. On a positive note, X is a fun loving type of guy and high on the Peter Pan way of thinking, that there was no point to growing up. He can have a serious conversations and be there for people but when it comes to those trying to pick apart their problems then he will simply give up. He's a free spirit who never likes to be tied down to anything, which is why his careers tend to bounce a lot. From Music Talent Scout to a Street Con Artist. He tried singing at once stage too. Whatever way he can make money. From leaving school at sixteen he spent five years in the army but soon got restless, paranoid, on edge. Now he teaches the Middle School portion of Darcy Academy, the 11-15 year olds.

History:
The story of Axel's parents is one of simplicity. His parents didn't date, go on the awkward movie rendezvous and picnics in the park. Actually there was just his mother, on her own for the most part. She didn't meet Mikhail until Axel was five. It's a complicated history. Axel's biological mother wasn't strong enough to look after him or his twin sister, so they went into a care home in Poland where they had been born. Marta was a fifty-seven year old with a thirty-five year old son doing her proud in police training and a twenty-five year old son competing in athletic competitions all over the place. Axel to this day doesn't know what possessed her, with these gems of sons, to adopt himself and his sister Anne. Marta always told Axel that it was his gorgeous cheeks that made her want to adopt him, and with his sister it was her golden blonde hair. Marta's long term partner, of whom she met when Axel was five, is the closest thing to a father Axel ever had. There felt nothing abnormal about the fact that he had two brothers thirty years older than him and Axel was in fact very welcomed by them as was his sister.

Having not known his parents, his shape-shifting heritage was something Axel had to find out on his own. It came to him in the strangest of ways, whilst in the bathroom. Certain muscles at the time were pulled that made his skin turn into shiny scales. It wasn't long before someone was screaming that a snake was inhabiting the toilet and calling every animal home they knew. It took several researches for him to figure out exactly what kind of snake he was, the answer turned out to be a dice snake. He does have the ability to turn into a cobra too, due to their genetics being uncannily similar, but he hasn't yet found a moment where he's wanted to be so threatening that he'd risk someone's life with cobra venom.

A genius idea hit him after that. He scammed people on the streets with his sister. She pretended she was selling her pet snake and after every purchase Axel would escape and find his way back home. Then the next day, a different spot, a new sale. He lost his virginity in his snake form, with a female snake that one of his 'owners' kept. So it's conceivable that there are snakes out there who are the offspring of Axel's animal part, but since there was no snake version of a pregnancy test he had hardly stuck around to find out. As for his human virginity, the losing of that happened with a woman he'd met whilst working out at the gym. She gave him an Std, hence why he doesn't go to the gym anymore. He was cured just in time for his third year into the army.

His relationship with his brothers was an interesting one. Mladen was obsessed with sex, constantly trying to tell him how to get women and get laid. Mladen wasn't the best example though, with their brother Martyn reporting it Mladen was arrested on rape charges, only released to go back to his swimming career this year. Mladen hurt Martyn so violently for 'tattling' on him that Axel nursed him later that night only to watch his brother still choking up blood. Martyn was a proud man, a police worker but a loyal man. He knew on some level that it was wrong to let family become imprisoned, so nothing was ever done about the beating. It only happened the ones, after that the brothers went to their own lives and didn't speak again. Axel still speaks to his brother Martyn and his twin sister Anne but Mladen completely broke contact with the majority of the family.

The idea of Darcy Academy for Axel was that it was a place to be accepted for what he was and allow himself to accept students the same way. He couldn't stand the sound of ridicule in the human world, so that was his next decision. He took a job teaching the middle school level pupils, ages 11-15. It was while he was teaching he met Rory, who had just turned 16. He substituted one of her classes and there was an instant connection. They've been dating for a year now. Axel split up with her once around 11 months into the relationship, because he's Axel. He doesn't spend too long in one place or with one person. He imparted the advice to Rory that she'd stay away from him if she knew what was good for her. A week later the couple slept together, now it seemed that she was pregnant. Or she might be.
