Aurora was a very stubborn girl and she knew it. She also hated to be wrong and even when proven wrong she would fight to prove she was right. In this case, though, Rory had to set her pride aside, let down her walls, and admit that she was actually wrong. Axel had been right about her, and she hated not only that, but more so the fact that she had acted so horribly. 'How could I even think he'd do that to me?' She mentally kicked herself as she remembered how she had told him she was scared he would take their kids away from her outside the movie theater earlier in the week. Due to her not feeling well, Rory had to go to the doctors to make sure she was okay and the twins were okay. Making the appointment had not been the hard part, the hard part would be the fact that Rory had to call Artemis, tell her that she wanted Axel to come, and then the worst part, call Axel and ask him to come with her. He could very well tell her to leave him alone, though after his passionate speech about him hating how she cut him out, she doubted he would. He may give a snide remark or act angry with her, but she figured he would not turn down the opportunity to go with her to the doctors and see how the twins were.
Picking out her clothes, Rory chose a white lacey undershirt, a grey peasant shirt for over top, a pair of denim short shorts, and her white sandals though she also grabbed her white "Born from a boom box" hoody that her brother had gotten her after finding out she had wanted it. Spritzing herself lightly with the perfume "Lovespell" which she had always loved, Rory checked her light makeup and ran her hand through her curly hair before putting on a pair of Disney Couture red rose dangles, a Disney couture red rose ring, and a Disney Couture rose in a glass dome necklace. She then grabbed her dance bag, cell phone, and the keys to her new Honda CR-V that she got when she found out she was having twins. A little two-passenger corvette was not the ideal car for a mother of two. Walking out of her room, Aurora snuck past her mother who was in the dining room with a few of the other council member's wives and once she knew she was in the clear, Rory dashed for her SUV in the garage and unlocked the door. Once inside her car, Rory quickly texted Artemis and then dialed X's number. It went to voicemail, making Rory sigh sadly. She knew she had to leave a message because she would not be called a coward again."X, its Rory... um I haven't been feeling well so I made an appointment with the doctor to check on the twins. I told Artemis not to come with me anymore... You were right. I should not have done what I did and I am sorry. Uh... I want you to be there X. If you can't make it today that's fine, it's at 2 o'clock by the way, but I'd really appreciate it if you'd come with me to the other appointments. I want you to be involved, I just... I don't know what I'm doing. I'm messing everything up with everything, not just us and not just the babies. Um... call me back if you get this in time, or just show up, it doesn't matter. If you can't come that's okay too. Alright, I guess I've rambled enough... bye." After the message was over, Rory mentally slapped herself at how stupid she probably sounded.
Once she settled down a bit, Rory opened the garage door and pulled out. She didn't want to stay home for another two hours before her appointment. She would grab a bite to eat and then go to her appointment. She did not live far from town, but she decided that she would just eat at the little cafe next to the hospital. Once at the cafe, Rory parked her car and walked inside. She ordered a turkey sandwich and a diet coke before sitting down and looking around the tiny space. She saw a pregnant couple in the corner, and she couldn't help but feel a tad bit jealous. The girl was a little older than she was, maybe by a year or two, and her boyfriend looked as if he was the happiest man in the world. She hadn't always been sure of X's feelings for her, but she couldn't help but wonder if that could have been them had she not went crazy after finding out she pregnant. Shaking those thoughts away, Rory ate her sandwich quietly and refused to look in that little corner at the happy little family. She didn't know if she'd ever have that with X, but she knew deep down she didn't want to have it with anyone else. Of course, she didn't know what would happen in the future. She and X could drift apart even more and some one else could come into his life, and maybe someone else would come in her life, but she doubted it... for her anyway. She knew she didn't deserve X, he had handled things poorly in the beginning, but he at least tried to work things out. She just continuously put her foot in her mouth and screwed things up more and more, rather than try to be an adult and fix things

Sigh. It had been almost a week since he and Rory had talked. Most of his annoyance by this point had gone, all but one. The fact that today was appointment day and Artemis would be there instead of him. He had nothing against Artemis, truth be told he hardly knew her. He just saw more reason for him to be there than her. He could understand if the father didn't want to be present but he'd practically begged Rory to let him go. Yet he was at home, checking his e-mail, like every other Tuesday. The only thing he had to look forward to now was going home. Not Garvonia, his home in Eastern Europe. He'd bought the plane tickets the night following his argument with Rory. She didn't want him around and the babies weren't to be born for months yet, he estimated he would stay in his homeland for six months maybe.. or three or four. He hadn't thought it through to the max, all he knew was that it was hardly productive to sit around feeling sorry for himself. He was on leave from Darcy Academy provided he came back after Christmas, which was fine because he didn't teach Rory anyway.
He couldn't wait to meet up with some of his relatives that he hadn't seen in a long time. There really was no place like home, he was certainly going to share with his twins where their father came from and that he was a Polish/Russian mix. He imagined that Rory would want to share her Hungarian heritage with the children. Between them it seemed they had a nice portion of the map sorted. Plus his twin sister Anne was in Brisbane at the moment with her new boyfriend, which should bring back some hilarious stories, he thought. Brisbane to be exact, where the band he was currently listening to were from. The Veronicas, playing '4ever'. It was de-stressing for him at that moment. It made him forget about the stress, about the break-up, even if just for the duration of the song.
He checked his phone every now and then but not nearly as often as he used to. Back when he was thinking any moment then he was going to get a text saying 'i was wrong, take me back'. Now he wasn't so stupid. He was slowly coming to terms with the idea that he wasn't the right guy for her, and should only be interested in the children consequently. Gone were the days of their first date where he was buying her candy and mocking her childishness playfully, soon they'd be buying candy for their children. It was a tricky thing to get used to but Axel was doing as much as any guy could do. He wasn't going to lie, he hadn't wanted children and certainly not under these circumstances but he cared too much about both Rory and the twins to dwell on that now. He didn't even know what genders they were yet, he supposed they wouldn't be developed enough to tell. It was nerve-wrecking though.
He knew it was early days but he was even thinking about names. As much as he would've loved to give either of his twins a name from his home country, he believed that since Rory was the one giving birth, he would rather choose names based on Rory's reasoning and heritage. He'd never reveal these thoughts to Rory, wouldn't even give her reason to suspect them. As he made clear to her last time they spoke, he wasn't an open person. As much as he cared about her, that was probably never going to change. At least she hadn't dared set a lawyer on him yet, he'd make it perfectly clear he'd shut the door in their face. He didn't agree with the system of lawyers arranging children's schedules between parents. He believed strongly that the parents should sort that out for themselves and that nobody outside a child's family should have any say on it's life.
He sighed again. Artemis was probably with Rory right then. Talking about the appointment. Axel and Rory didn't get along very well, that much was true, and maybe that was Rory's only reason. She didn't want someone there she didn't get along with. But the point was that he knew he had rights as a father to be involved in the twin's lives. It was exhausting to think about because he and Rory disagreed on so many levels. When he was feeling particularly nostalgic he'd think about the simpler times when he and Rory didn't fight, they were just a couple. Now they had problems, big problems, irreconcilable problems he reckoned. Or this was his thought process before he heard the phone ring. He didn't feel ready to talk to her, he still had too much on his mind. So he let the phone go to voicemail. Once the caller clicked off, Axel listened to his voicemail.
No sooner had the voicemail stopped than Axel was thrusting himself into his brother's car. His brother had eventually given in and let Axel have it. There was a small catch - he didn't have a permit. Then again though if his brother trusted him enough to drive it then he was probably safe. The car parked obscurely outside the hospital within ten minutes and Axel ran into the hospital, swarmed by a sea of rooms. Fortunately 2 o'clock was hours away, so he sat near the reception area where Rory would certainly notice him when she came in.

The happy little family in the corner finally left, making Aurora relax finally. Now that she didn't have plaguing thoughts of what could have been and what was really happening, Rory could finally eat in peace. Now that her food and drink was finished, Rory knew that the only thing she could do was go next door to the hospital and wait until it was time for her appointment. Grabbing her trash and throwing it away, Rory waved goodbye to the worker who told her to have a nice day and walked out the door. Having gotten used to the dimmer light in the cafe, Rory had to cover her eyes for a moment until they adjusted. Feeling the warm sun on her skin did make her feel a bit better, as she always loved the sun compared to being cold. Thankfully, it only ever got cold at Darcy during the winter season due to the weather controlling teachers, and once you left the grounds you were back to nice and warm weather. Rory did like to play in the snow, but she would rather be tanning on the beach.
The walk to the hospital wasn't a very long one, especially as it was just right next door to the cafe she had been at. Feeling the weight of her dance shoes and other dance equipment on her back inside her bag gave her another small amount of comfort, as dance always had. She knew she would never be alone during her pregnancy. She always had Artemis, and even though her family didn't exactly agree with everything happening and how it happened but they were still helping her out, and the other Darcy's were also supportive. She had even made a new friend, Max, and of course she had Axel but she feared that she had pushed him away with how crazy she had been acting. She knew she should never have acted that way, and she knew that being scared should never have been a reason because he was mostly just as scared as she. Running a hand through her curly hair, Rory sighed loudly in frustration and quickly made her way inside the hospital.
Once inside, Rory smiled at a few of the nurses who knew her from her few visits. She had many so many trips to the doctors now that she could have gotten to the waiting room with her eyes closed. Of course, once she got there she hadn't expected to see Axel sitting there. Honestly, she didn't know what she had expected. She figured that after him saying how he wanted to go with her that he would be there, but then again she didn't know if he had just went on and decided she was just going to be herself and not let him come. Rory knew she should have never decided he couldn't come to the appointments with her; he was the twins' father after all. She didn't know what to say, but she did manage a small "Hey." that came with a little smile. "I'm glad you could make it. This isn't a usual visit, I haven't been feeling well and I've gotten rather paranoid with everything so I made an appointment to make sure everything is okay." She told him quietly while sitting down next to him. Next week would have been her normal appointment visit but she couldn't wait a week. She was too nervous and stressed over the twins and everything else was going on.
Leaning back against her chair, Rory tried to relax again. She knew she had to focus on the twins and her upcoming year of school and not the lack of a relationship between her and Axel. He believed they could raise kids and that they were better off not being a couple while doing it, and until he changed his mind, she knew she had to go along with it and not make him try to change his mind. Of course, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, and just thinking about him made her thoughts go fuzzy, but she had to stay on track. She pushed him away before and she didn't want to do that again. Hopefully, the doctors would give her a due date or something to keep her mind focused on the twins rather than having her spend all her time thinking about everything else. She had thought of a few names already, even though she had no idea what the twins' sexes were, but she had fun trying to find names that fit. Of course, she wanted Axel to help her, but thinking of him not being around and not really talking to her had just made her depressed again, and then made her decide against thinking of names again until they were on speaking terms again. Seeing as there was still another hour and a half before their appointment, and Rory not wanting to spend that in silence, she tried to think of things to talk to Axel about that wouldn't cause a fight in the middle of the waiting room. Saying sorry would have to be saved for later, because that probably could end in a fight, baby names could too, but it actually seemed safer than getting into her sorry and her reasons behind everything. "I know it's silly, but I've been thinking of baby names already. Even if it is way too early to be thinking of them when it's way too early to tell what their sexes are. I wanted to know if you thought of any too. I didn't want to get my hopes set on a name without your opinion." She was excited to find out what names he had in mind, if any. She had a few in mind, but wasn't really set on any just yet.

By the time Rory made it Axel had gone through at least five cups of orange juice. He wondered why he came down so early, there was something in his mind that got paranoid that if he didn't arrive half an hour or so earlier then everyone would start without him. It was irrational he knew it, but on some level it was dreadful to think that Rory wanted Artemis there instead of him. His heart had shattered that day, it was something near unforgivable to think that the best friend would've been there instead of the father. It made his eyes quiver just thinking about it. Even when she appeared in front of him, he felt like she was going to sit down and tell him that he should go or imply that he didn't want to be here. She'd acted like the babies were one big chore to him, he didn't know how he could ever forgive her.
He took a deep breath, he knew that he had to tell Rory that he was leaving. He couldn't just head out of the country without letting the mother of his children know. "Rory, listen. I have to tell you something, I'm.. I'm not coming back to Darcy at the end of he Summer. I'm going home, for a few months I think." on the one hand, going back to the beautiful village he grew up in was an exciting thing for him. He hadn't been back in west-central Poland for so long. On the other hand, he knew that Rory would need support. The way he saw it, better to go now before the birth of their children and come back before Rory became too engrossed into the next trimester. He was trying to do the right thing but he was terrified of how Rory was going to react. She spent so much of her time yelling at him that he'd come to expect it.
It took Axel a moment to gather himself and he worried that his smile might not seem wholly genuine. It wasn't, in a way, but he missed home. He had to go back, he'd bought the tickets when he was frustrated and it was the right thing to get away for a while. "I'll call you every single day and we can chat on webcam and it'll be fine. I'm not abandoning you, I promise." he told her, hoping that she wouldn't clue in that he'd bought the tickets after they had the argument. He didn't want her to blame herself, the argument was bound to happen and there was nothing neither of them could've done. He knew he'd miss her so much and when he returned they'd be fine, they'd be happy and they could get through the rest of the pregnancy together. He hoped Rory would see it that way.

Rory knew she had made a mistake in having Artemis come with her instead of having Axel, but she had been scared and upset. She made a bad decision and now she was paying for it, and she knew it. 'He doesn't trust me, and it's all my fault. Why am I so stupid?' She thought to herself with a sigh. 'He has every right to hate me. I can only blame myself, becuase really he didn't do much. Sure he reacted badly, but I shouldn't have expected him not too, and sure he broke up with me after but I was acting crazy and insecure... like I always do.'
Aurora had a lot of growing up to do, it was very obvious to everyone around her. She knew with twins on the way, she needed to grow up fast, but the part of her that was the partier and carefree girl was trying to rebel. Rory had to learn that she was never going to be a normal teenager again, and that her twins had to come first before she did anything else. Hearing Axel take a deep breath, Rory held her own thinking that he was going to tell her bad news. As she listened to him, she felt her heart hurt slightly, though her brain told her she couldn't act out. Rory almost wanted to cry but she knew she had to fight back tears because she didn't want to start anything or make Axel think she was blaming him for hurting her. She was really only crying because she knew everything that was happening to her was her own fault. Clearing her throat, Rory nodded. "That sounds...nice. I hope you have a good time. I promise to keep you updated on everything with the twins, and uh...yeah." She did worry though that he wouldn't be home in time for the twins to be born. The way she believed it to be she would be due by either February or March, she hadn't been given an exact date yet but due to her trying to work the dates out in her head and how long she would probably take to go full term, either February or March seemed to be the correct times to her. 'He did say only a few months though...but he did add that he only thought he was staying for a few months... What if he isn't here when the twins come?!' She didn't want to show her frustration or worry so she closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall. She was a bit tired, so she hoped it made him think she was only tired and not tired, worried, upset, etc. Once again Rory listened to him speak, and she wouldn't lie, it did make her feel better that he was going to talk to her. She didn't believe it would happen every day, but she hoped at least once a week. "I know you're not abandoning me. I know I've been horrible to you ever since this happened and I haven't exactly trusted you... but you wouldn't be here if you were going to abandon me. You would have done it the moment I told you." She said quietly though loud enough for him to hear, and not anyone else in the waiting room. Sighing, Rory ran a hand through her hair and got up to get a drink. She didn't want to cry, nor did she want to try and ask him to stay... or even make him stay. Rory normally never used her power to make people do things. She had only made a few people do her will, and usually it was when she was in a horrible state. She felt too guilty when she used it. She could also get into his mind and see what he was thinking, but Rory also took that as an invasion of privacy, which Rory wouldn't allow for her to be in that type of situation so she wasn't going to make him hate her even more by putting him in that situation. As she got a drink out of the little vending machine, Rory placed a hand on her ever small baby bump, and couldn't help but let a small smile grace her pretty face. 'Maybe this will be good for us... and if it isn't, well maybe it will at least help us.' She thought and rubbed her stomach unconsciously while she drank her juice. Once she was done with her drink and felt like she could skillfully hold back any tears or sadness, Rory returned to her seat so she could wait for her appointment. "So, have you thought of any baby names?" She asked him, once comfortable, or at least as comfortable as she was going to get in the chairs.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS: Axel! When Axel watched Rory return to her seat he knew that she'd been crying, or at least upset by something. He couldn't help that, pregnant women were hormonal and all Axel could think to do to help was to be there for her. What more could he do? The problem was never that he wasn't there, Axel had tried to be there for Rory numerous times. The problem was that Rory couldn't see past their relationship. And the truth was, Rory was expecting their break-up before it even happened. The first night Rory told him she was pregnant, when they were a couple again and on a date, she was asking him whether he would leave her so that she knew whether their children would be switching houses, a question he was still insulted by. If she'd had more faith in him, who knows where they would be?
But dwelling on the past wouldn't help. Axel was already sweating about the future. More specifically, this doctor's appointment. What if there was something wrong? What if the twins were in danger? What if .. he daren't think of worse. It seemed a cruel fate for Rory to become pregnant, for them to have his whole journey together, only for there to be no happily ever after. That'd kill him. "I thought that you might be a better judge of what names are good, seeing as I grew up with different names. You know, names that are normal in my country perhaps are quite unusual here. I suppose it would be great if we had a boy, to name them after my grandfather Holden. Or maybe Damian. But you'll probably be better at girls names." he admitted, barely paying attention to the doctor poking his head out the door.
Miss Soren? he called. Axel looked up at the doctor then back at Rory. His hand slipped into hers for support as they walked into the doctors office.

Smiling, Rory nodded. "Don't worry, I've heard some of the names of my grandparents friends and they're not what I'm used to hearing around here either. I do like those names. What about Damian Holden?" Smiling, running the name over in her mind, Rory found she actually really liked the name. 'Damian Holden Lasion.'
Running a hand through her hair, Rory mentally ran through her list of girl names. "I like the name Danika." She said finally with a little laugh. "I don't really know where I ever heard it but I do like it." Hearing the doctor call her in and felt Axel slip his hand into hers for support. Taking a deep breath, Rory got up and walked into the doctors office. "Hello Doctor Black." Rory said before sitting on chair the doctor pointed to. "Hello Aurora. Now, what is wrong?" "Well, I've just been feeling a little off to be honest. I know I've been a little more than stressed lately and my mother said I should probably get everything checked out." She told him with a sigh. Doctor Black nodded before pulling out a blood pressure cuff. "Well, first let's run some simple tests. That might give us an idea of what's going on." He said before gently slipping the cuff on Rory's arm. Looking at the numbers, Doctor Black sighed. "Well Rory, your blood pressure is higher than I'd like. It's most likely from the stress you've mentioned. I want you to try and relax. If your blood pressure remains high, it will not end well for the baby. Also, I'm afraid you might be at risk for preeclampsia. Now, Preeclampsia would put your twins and yourself at risk. We want to try and prevent that from happening so we will definitely have to monitor you much more closely."Rory stared at the doctor for a moment, trying to register everything he had said. "So this, preeclampsia could kill my babies and me? But you said I don't have it, I'm just at risk." Taking a deep, shaky breath, Rory nodded. "Okay, so how do we prevent it?" She asked, still feeling the weight of Axel's hand in her own which gave her a small comfurt. Was she relaxed? No, in fact she was terrified, but he did bring her comfurt. More comfurt than Artemis would have especially. "Well, really we can try and keep your blood-pressure at a normal rate, you'll need a diet plan, and I'd like to have you in here at least once every week instead of every other week. Just so we can make sure you and the twins are okay." He explained to her, hoping to keep the teenager from stressing too much. "Like I said, you're only at risk. We don't want you stressing out too much so please, just follow the plan we give you and try not to worry too much. I'm sure you're family and Axel here will help you as much as they can."Attempting to swallow the lump in her throat, Rory let go of Axel's hand finally and jumped out of her seat. "I need to use the restroom." She said before running out of the room. Once in the bathroom, Rory threw up in the toilet. As usual, a few tears came with it, but she couldn't stop them from falling. She was scared, she was scared that she could lose the babies or even worse, lose the babies and then die herself. She didn't want that to happen. 'I just have to follow the plan and try not to stress out about everything.' She tried to encourage herself before flushing the toilet and moving out of the stall. Walking shakily over to the sink, Rory rinsed her mouth out and wiped her face before popping a piece of gum in, straightening her clothes, and then making her way back to the office. Once back in the office, Rory sat back in her seat and cleared her throat. "Sorry. Now, uh, what do I need to do? I mean, do I have to quit my job or anything? Or can I keep doing that?" She asked him. "I guess, what I mean is, what do I have to stop doing? My job isn't too stressful most days, and I always have someone else working with me in case I do actually need to stop for a little while or go home. I've already stopped dancing, I mean I still go and help with the little kids but normally I skip competition days now because those are stressful, but really the most stress I have is at home or if I'm over thinking everything or fighting with my parents or really anyone anymore."[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS: Axel! I've already stopped dancing, I mean I still go and help with the little kids but normally I skip competition days now because those are stressful, but really the most stress I have is at home or if I'm over thinking everything or fighting with my parents or really anyone anymore." Axel listened to the words but he couldn't contribute much, he only tightened his hold on Rory's hand and ran his thumb over her hand softly. He wanted to soothe her as much as possible, this was a delicate time for her. Axel was already cancelling the trip in his mind, this wasn't a time that he and Rory should be apart. In fact... Axel leaned over to Rory's ear, just before the doctor started speaking. He whispered "I think we should move in together." followed by a small smile. It would mean he could help look after the twins and before they're born, look after Rory who was carrying the twins. It also meant any issues that arose could be controlled. It seemed the ideal solution.
"Your already hypertensive," the doctor began. Axel thought that he must be a real moron, he had no idea what that word meant. The doctor then went on to explain. "That just means you have high blood pressure. We'll need to do a urine test if this progresses, just to make sure you haven't already developed the condition. Odds are you haven't, unless you've been experiencing headaches, vomiting, swelling or abdominal pain. If your blood pressure doesn't decrease, your babies will have to be delivered prematurely, which doesn't give them a high survival rate. Now, with this in mind, here are some preventive measures you could take..." Axel didn't think that Rory would need much persuasion to make some changes to stop anything like that happening. The twins meant too much and it was unthinkable that Rory's stress could be responsible for their death.
"There are some factors you can't change, unfortunately. Your age for example, puts you at high risk. But I can prescribe herbal supplements, to be taken twice a day, which alleviates daily stresses by making you feel relaxed. It won't make your blood pressure disappear like a bandage to a wound but if you keep calm it should justify your thought pattern so that you don't get stressed as often. But I can only give you general advice, because what creates stressful situations for one person is relaxing for another. Some people have demanding work, some people would be more stressed if they didn't work. So I can't tell you what exactly would eliminate your causes of stress, it should be intuitive how to eliminate conscious stresses. Daily hassles, arguments, fall-outs, they're all factors" Axel could see where this was heading, basically the doctor couldn't give them all the answers. He and Rory needed to look at the most stressful features of their life and change them, fast.
"Thank you doctor. We'll take that prescription." Axel finalized, focused on getting Rory out of that room so they could talk about this.

Rory's heart skipped a beat at Axel's words and momentarily thought she heard him wrong. The small smile he gave her though let her know she heard him correctly. Giving him a small smile in return, Rory decided they would talk about it later once they left the doctors office. Taking a deep breath, Rory prepared herself for what was to come. She knew she had a lot on her plate and she still had to work on calming herself down and even more so, she still had to learn how to let everything go and just learn to trust people. She didn't trust people and that was what got her in so much trouble with Axel before. She assumes the worst in people and she has to get over her fear. Sure, she could just use her power to see what is really on a person's mind but she felt that was an invasion of privacy that shouldn't be used unless she absolutely had too.
Listening to the doctor, Rory mentally kept note of everything he said. She was more than willing to change if it meant keeping her babies safe and healthy. She knew it probably wouldn't be easy, but she did need to at least try. Even though they weren't planned, Rory loved the twins more and more each day. With her growing bump, Rory even found herself smiling every time her hand ran over the bump, knowing her two little babies were inside her growing. She would not be the reason that they died. She was protective of those close to her as it was, it would destroy her if she were the reason that her two innocent babies died.
It was going to be hard, she knew it was. Her and Axel fought quite a bit, though they seemed to be doing fine now. Rory knew it was partially her fault, she accused him of things, thought he would leave her before he even knew of the twins, and over all just didn't trust him fully with everything because she felt he didn't trust her fully. She did love him though, and hoped that they could work everything out so it wasn't so stressful and maybe after everything was settled, they could start a relationship again. She knew she loved him and he seemed to love her too, he definitely wouldn't have stayed around for as long as he did if he didn't, but if they couldn't work as a couple, maybe they could at least handle the kids like adults.
Looking back up to the doctor, Rory nodded. "Yes, thank you." She said quietly while gently rubbing her stomach over her bump with her free hand.
Dr. Black wrote on a prescription pad and handed the paper to Rory. "Take that to the front desk and they'll send it to the pharmacy and you can pick it up within an hour. They will also schedule you for your next visit." He told hthem with a smile.
Rory got out of her chair, still holding onto Axel's hand almost for dear life, and shook the doctors hand with her free hand before placing it back on her stomach. "Thank you, again." She told him, attempting a smile, before walking towards the door and to the front desk.
