AC & OTM Business
So, we have officially had our first Activity check all over and done with and now we have finished our first OTM awards out! Congratulations to our winners!
Activity Business
We know that everyone has a busy RL and RP isn't always on the top of everyone's "must do" list, but we do ask that if you know you're going away, even for just a few days, to let us know in the AFK. Even if you just need a few days away from the site and RP in general, let us know. We have the AFK up and we'd love for you to take advantage of it.
Also, please make sure you always remember to put your AFK up if you know it's close to AC time. We have an AC at the end of every month and if you know you're going to be gone during that time or you know you won't be able to get on the site, please make sure to tell us.
An AFK in the C-Box does NOT count. We will not accept it. We understand if it's for the day, that's fine, but if you're going away for a week or two, leave an AFK. We can not and will not be able to remember who's going away for how long, especially not when we all have our own things to do in RL. So please, try to remember that we admins are human and can't keep track of everything. You don't even have to go into detail about where you're going or what you're doing, all we need is a time frame of how long you'll be gone and a short description as to why. (It doesn't have to get personal, just saying you're going on vacation or that you're busy with finals is enough).
Site Business
Since we now have more than a few characters and have more than one thread on the site, I thought everyone should know that we have a forum called and it's located here.
Basically all you do is make a new post when you want to have your finished threads moved to the archives. It's very helpful to the admins that you post those finished threads here so we can clean the site up and not have it so cluttered. Like I said earlier, the admins and I can't keep track of everything and we need your help with some of these things. Mainly just to keep the site looking nice and neat we need you to just let us know when you've finished your threads.
Also, if your threads haven't been moved in a week and you've posted those threads in the forum, please PM one of the site admins (Shideh, Kyler, Cass, or myself) and let us know. We may accidentally miss it.
School Business
It is still the summer in Garvonia! We have been unable to move into the school year yet as we only have around 6 students. We can't move on into the school year until we have a few more students.
Seeing as we're stuck in summer in RP time, you are welcome to post anywhere on the site during any month of the summer. School ends in the end of May and begins on September 1st (Rp time of course). The only thing that we ask is that you post what month your thread is based in and what part of the month it's in. Just to make it easier for people who want to post in that thread.
Vampire Ban Business
We currently have a ban on vampires, and it will be up until we have a better number on the werewolves and shifters. We know everyone loves vampires, but we need werewolves and shifters more than we need vampires, especially because they are the ones that are mainly involved with the site's main plot.
If you're itching to make another character, make it a werewolf or shifter. You can wait out the ban, but it could be up for a very long time considering how long it takes to get our numbers fixed. So let's get some werewolves and shifters so we can get some more vampires too (:

We have updated the rules once or twice since the site has opened so make sure you check up on those and read them over. I may add more over time, though as of right now we don't need to add anymore. We don't have a block yet, but if our numbers get too out of hand we will.
Now, I believe I have covered everything, BUT if you have questions please don't be afraid to ask one of the site admins (Shideh, Kyler, Cass, and myself). We are here to help you and we want you to have a good RP experience with us. We don't want you to get in trouble for doing something you shouldn't have when you didn't exactly know what you were doing. Honestly, if you have a question about anything you are more than welcome to ask us. I'm always on my Admin account and I frequently check my Inbox on for all of my accounts so you can reach me on any of my accounts. You can also see which admin is on which account most often by looking down at the bottom of the board where the members who have been on are listed. You can even ask them which account they prefer you to PM a question with. Don't be afraid to talk to us.
Speaking of PM's, just so everyone know's you can see if you have any new messages on the bottom of the forum under the total number of members and the newest members. I'm sure everyone know's where it's at, but I just wanted to make sure so no one says they didn't know where it was when they see they had a PM from one of the admins regarding something.
