First off, welcome to Darcy Academy. A school for vampires, werewolves, and shifters to learn to control their abilities from ages 10-18! We're so excited that you are looking around the site and have joined or are thinking of joining us! Please look below at our IC rules and our OCC rules, we'd really appreciate if you follow the rules so everyone can have an awesome RP experience here!
OOC RULES![/font][/color]
Once you have registered, please change your display name to the full name of your character. The only time you wouldn't is if the name is overly long (more than two middle names, if the full name is more than 25 characters than it must be shortened for the display name) For example: Almeda Jane Lucas.
As of right now, we don't have a block on any females, BUT if the numbers get too bad then we will.
Role Play here is rated PG-13 due to young members and also because, Proboards says so (;
Please be realistic with your role playing! No creature can make a whole house explode. Or dodge every single bullet as if invincible. Also, no person is perfect, so don’t make your characters totally flawless. Make sure he/she has strengths and weaknesses.
Please talk in THIRD person while role playing.
Make sure your total signature size isn't stretching anything. We don't like that and if you don't listen we'll take away your signature privileges.
NO harassing is allowed. It will not be tolerated! Also no fighting with other members, if you have a problem with another member please PM any admin that is around.
No one can kick anyone off of the site, only the admin’s can do that, again PM one of the admins if you have a problem with a member.
No double posting twice, it's better to edit while you wait for other people to post. It's impolite not to let other people talk.
No posting in anything (other than the create a character section) until your application is accepted!
No god mode!!!
No Name calling, we don't tolerate it because it's just wrong and mean. It's fine in IC between two characters, not OOC between two actucal people!
No going over board with the swearing. A small amount is acceptable but no overly bad words, we do have youngins on here. And just so you know you must follow all these rules or you will get banned for 3-5 days and if it continues you will be banned for 2 weeks and if you insist on disobeying the rules then you will be kicked off the site for good.
You MUST do your character application and go through with the following sign ups: Face Claim, Powers, the Directory, and your dorm room/Aparment. No exceptions, if you don't do this you can't post anything on the school grounds and such. You have two weeks to finish your app and then it's moved to the declined section and you're account will be removed a week after that if you still haven't completed it. So overall we are giving you three weeks to finish it, it shouldn't take you more than the two we give you in the first place but we are nice and give you an extra week to finish!

NO forced rapes at all and no teen pregnancies unless you ask an admin. Everyone can't be a teen mother/father. You must ask an Admin first!
A vampire pregnancy lasts 10 months!
A Werewolf pregnancy lasts 63 days. (The same amount as a wolf)
A Shifter's pregnancy goes anywhere from 7-10 months, depending on the mothers shifter form. (If the animal part has a short pregnancy period, then the mother will have seven months, if it's two years in her animal form it's 10 months)
Vampires, Werewolves, and shapeshifters! Vampires you're not from twilight. Sun doesn't burn but you can burn easily if in it too long. You don't have a constant hunger but you need blood at least three times a day. If you are a vampire you CAN change humans but it's frowned upon. Most vampires are BORN vampires from VAMPIRE parent. YOU DO NOT SPARKLE! Also NO ONE can change a human unless a admin allows. All vampires have these abilities: Super speed, super strength, and hypnosis/compulsion, a fourth ability is available. You are immortal (you don't age kind of immortal, not the you can't be killed immortal) and stop aging around thirty, but you don't have a regular diet of blood you do age and if you stop drinking all together than you go into a comatose state.
Werewolves you change, even when it's not the full moon, but when it's the full moon you're an actual werewolf, when it's not the full moon you just turn into a normal wolf. It's something you cannot change. Same for werewolves you CAN change humans but again it's not good. You are BORN from WEREWOLF parents. Again you can't change a human unless a admin allows and it must be under a full moon. Werewolves already have super speed, super strength, and the ability to talk to animals. Again they can only have ONE ability. You are also immortal (no aging kind of immortal, and you don't age after 30), though you can choose to age if you want to.
Shapeshifters, you CANNOT change humans you don't have that power. You are BORN this way and cannot change it, but you are born of shifter parents! Shapeshifters have super speed, super strength, and healing powers. They are only allowed ONE other ability. The moon holds no sway over you and you change at will, though you're emotions can make you change if you become angered or overly emotional. You are also immortal (yes you don't age after 30, but you can still be killed), but you too can age further if you wish too.
There are NO wizard/vampire mixes or anything like that, no wands, no flying brooms. There are mages but they do not attend the school, but they do have old magic surrounding the school to keep humans away from it. Also there are NO HUMANS on the site. There IS a human town close to the school but as I said there is old magic keeping them away from the school. They CANNOT enter the ground, no matter how hard you try to bring them onto school grounds it's impossible.
