love your play-by, he's adorbs XD but anywhoo leo here is the english lit professor and i could see him taking a liking to max. whether it be through him struggling with school work, or whatever, because leo likes to be friends with his students XD

I can totally see that. Max is a very withdrawn person, and doesn't interact well with anyone. It doesn't help that he has premonitions that comes on with smells or touch. =) I think Leo can become sort of a mentor for Max?
BTW: I love Ian Somerhalder! So hot!! xDD

Addy is Leo's fiancee and the Headmistress of Darcy Academy. I can see Addy wanting to help Max if he ever got bullied or anything. Just as long as he doesn't start anything with any werewolves because she doesn't want any of that in her school.
Aurora&&Max
Rory is a fellow shape-shifters, she's a panther, but I don't know if she and Max would have ever hung out before because Rory tended to be in the center of the crowd. Now that she's pregnant with a Professor's twins, she is starting to actually grow up. Eventually I could see her sticking up for Max because she's going to get picked on herself. She is neutral in the fued between werewolves and shifters, but she doesn't care if people are on either side, she's mainly just worried about her babies now.
Rayna&&Max
Rayna is a werewolf and doesn't trust anyone, and if Max is against werewolves she won't take well to him not listening to her as she is a teacher and he is a student. So this one all depends on how Max acts towards Rayna. She, like Addy, won't take well if Max starts anything with any werewolves in her class or if she sees him starting anything. If werewolves start anything with him then she'd punish them too.

I can see him and Aurora being friends, but he's new at the Academy, so they wouldn't have met before. And I can see him being the sassy gay friend with her and will be protective of her.
Max and Rayna: Because she's a teacher, he'll respect her, mainly because she does have a position of power over him. He's kinda neutral towards werewolves, but he doesn't associate with any of the species as much. It's just him to be a loner with the exception of one or two friends.

Leo could definitely be a mentor. Addy has the gift of dream manipulation, so I could see Leo talking with Max about that, and maybe mentioning that he should talk to her if he ever has problems or gets scared. Leo's gift is tongue, so if Max ever wanted to learn a new language - here's Leo xD
