can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Laughing, he quickly put on a pouty face and looked to her. ”How could you make this amazing looking fellow sleep on the couch, all alone?” Leo was all mush when it came to Addy and he gave in fairly easy no matter what it was she might have wanted. There weren’t too often of times where they made each other mad, but don’t get him wrong – they could have some fights. But only when they were warranted, never just because it seemed like a good time. Leo hated fighting, arguing – anything of the sort, and especially with Adaleen. Springtime sounded just as good of a time as any, so he figured why not. Just another thing for him to give in to her on, like she didn’t already get her way enough. ”May sounds just a good a time as any. And I like the idea of it giving us a longer planning time.” He figured Addy probably already had her dream wedding ideas in mind, and he’d make every single one of them come true. He only planned on getting married one time, ever, and he was going to do it right. Besides, if he started off as the man of her dreams, and gave her the wedding she always wanted, surely fate was on his side and they’d always have each other? It wasn’t like the two parties every night of the week, but they did indulge every once in a while. One of the reasons Leo had feel so furiously for Addy was due to her rebellious streak. He’d be lying if he said that wasn’t one of the reasons he loved her. You had to have a healthy balance of professionalism and then play time. Without a good grip on both, your whole life could go to hell because you’d be way to stressed all the time and besides, all work and no play makes Leo a sad boy. He hated thinking of the war, and Addy’s father, who happened to be on the council. Shivering at the thought, he looked back to her as she wrote the note. ”There, now if you forget, I’ll just say your head isn’t in the game.” He said with a grin, standing up and reaching around her for one of the movies. Popping it into the player, he settled back into the couch. Hearing her words about running into his twin brother, he froze. ”You did what?” He wasn’t upset, by any means. He knew Addy and Marco would always be friends, but Leo couldn’t help but feel – was this jealousy? He couldn’t so much as carry on a conversation with his twin brother because there was so much animosity between the two of them after Addy and Leo had started dating and then became engaged. ”Uhh, how was it?” He said, at a loss for words. He knew Addy was heartbroken over hurting Marco, but her feelings couldn’t be helped. The heart wants what the heart wants, and her heart had always belonged to Leo.

Sticking her tongue out at him like a child, Addy flicked her hair away from her and gave a fake sigh. "You're not all that good looking you know." She teased before giving him a big smile and kissed his cheek. "Just kidding, you're very handsome. Can't let your ego get too big though. We don't have enough room here." She only teased him, it was all in good fun. She never meant it when she teased him. She loved him too much to think of his faults and she hated to fight with him. Smiling at his agreement on having their wedding in May, Addy threw his arms around him and kissed him softly. "That's what I thought, we need a day though. Then we can really start planning and our parents will be happy we've finally picked a day." She said with a laugh. Her parents had been bugging her about finally picking a day. They had beeen together for seven years, which made her parents think they were never going to get married. "I have a few ideas in mind, but I want to run them over with you. We can talk about that later. No more wedding plans tonight, we need to finish our one free night together." She only wanted to be married once, she loved Leo and she didn't think she could ever marry another man and she knew he felt the same way.
Her rebellious streak had died down since being named Headmistress, but that didn't mean she completely stopped having fun and by no means did she have any plans to stop having fun any time soon. When she had kids she probably wouldn't party so much, but she'd still go out for date nights with Leo. She could balance professional and fun like no other. She knew when to stop and when to go. It was one of the reasons she had actually been able to get through high school without failing and had never gotten caught by her parents who would have her skin if they ever found out half of the things she had done and gotten away with. Sure they knew some things that she had done, she was a Darcy after all and the press who always followed the members of the council and their family. Luckily she could hide from them easily after years of practice.
Once again sticking her tongue out at him, Addy jokingly pushed him. "Very funny Leonardo." Sitting down in his lap, Addy sighed. Running a hand through her hair, Addy kissed his cheek. "We went out for coffee. I got apple pie and he got a blueberry muffin." She hated the fact that Marco would still talk to her, but completely ignored his twin brother. "It was nice. We just talked, kind of awkward when he asked about the wedding plans, but it was nice. We both agreed that if Rory got fired from her job just because she's pregnant the owner would have a few angry vampires on his hands." She said with a small laugh. Looking at him, Addy gave him a sad look. "I'm sorry, I really wish that he would talk to you." Addy wished mor ethan anything that Marco and Leo could make up. She hated that it was her fault there was such a rift between them.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Giving her a big grin, he produced a smug look on his face. ”You’re not telling me anything I don’t already know. And please, inflate my ego. Just gives us more reason to pick an even bigger penthouse suite next time.” He said with a wink. The apartment they were living in fit them both comfortably, but they didn’t particularly need a lot of room. It was just the two of them. Returning her kiss, he sighed. ”If it’s not one thing, it’s another. We finally narrowed it down to a month, now you want a day?” He said teasingly. ”Our parents nothing; I feel sure yours are more anxious than mine. Your future in-laws know how stubborn your future husband is and how slow he is about practically everything.” Taking her in his arms, he nuzzled her neck gently. ”Although the one thing I’ve always been sure about is you.” He said, whispering against her skin. Releasing her from his arms, he nodded enthusiastically. ”Yes, movie night is still a go.” Leo knew there was no one else meant for him but Addy; it had always been that way and he only wanted to get married once – to her. One thing Leo had always admired about Addy was her ability to multi task. She was a typical woman, but being a vampire gave her heightened senses when it came down to the nitty gritty. The two had fun as a couple and separately, although it was more often than not separately. Leo didn’t particularly like going out without Addy, but sometimes he just needed that time away from the apartment, the school, and work so he would go out with some buddies and have a few drinks. There were always the typical girls out just looking for a good time, and sure they would stare at Leo and his friends, but he never even noticed anymore. Since Addy and he had become an item, his head never turned from her. He was very loyal to the woman who had stolen his heart, and he never planned on that changing. ”You hurt me.” He said, sticking his lower lip out in a pouty way, glancing at her trying his best not to laugh. As she settled into his lap, his arms instantly went around her. He felt her lips on his cheek as she talked about her encounter with his twin brother. ”The blueberry muffin, that was something we always had in common.” He said, flinching at the memory. ”Of course it got awkward, he’s still in love with you Adaleen. Hell, who wouldn’t be? I would die if I lost you, so I can only imagine what he goes through everyday.” He nodded in agreement about the statement about Rory. That girl may have been a lot of trouble, but she was anything if not a hard worker. ”It’s not your fault Addy, please don’t think that. I’m sure we’ll speak… eventually.” It had been seven years, how much longer could this possibly go on?

Hitting his chest again, Addy rolled her eyes. "Please, we aren't moving until we absolutely have to." She told him with a fake glare. "Besides, I don't think there is a place big enough in Garvonia to fit you and your ego, let alone the three of us." Addy liked their apartment. She knew they'd need a bigger place once they started having kids, probably a real house rather than an apartment, but until they started talking kids, their apartment would be perfect. "Unless of course, you plan on kicking me out and moving you and your ego some place where you can actually fit it in a place big enough to hold the both of you." She teased him. Addy had no intentions of leaving, she had threatened enough girls to back off from Leo without him knowing and back when they were dating, she had even fought a girl so she would get the point. She did not know if Leo knew about that particular fight, but seeing as he never brought it up she figured he did not know.
Sticking her tongue out at him, Addy decided she might as well tease him again. "Well it's got to get done sometime. There is not enough time in the world to plan one thing ever three months. Beside's if we did try that, I think my mother would pull all her hair out and start planning everything for us." Actually shivering at the thought, Addy knew she did not want her mother planning her wedding. She loved her mother very much, but the two had very different tastes. "You're right; my parents don't know you as well. Though they should have realized after the fact that we've been dating seven years and still haven't picked a day for our wedding." Giggling as he nuzzled her neck, Addy could not help but sigh happily at his words. "A girl could get used to this."
Once he let her go, and let her know movie night was still on, Addy laughed and started the movie. She knew all about Leo and his friends going out drinking, but she never worried about the other girls. She knew Leo was very loyal to her, and even though she had messed up with his brother, Addy knew better than to mess up with Leo. After a few times out together, most girls got the picture that Leo was taken by Addy. She may be small, but she was powerful. Most vampire girls knew to stay away from Addy, she could be sweet and nice but get her angry and she could be anyone's worst nightmare, literally seeing as she could control a person's dreams.
Giving a sad sigh, Addy almost wished she had not brought it up. "Yeah, you guys did. Thankfully you both know how to share well." She said, trying to tease him and not make it so hurtful. Giving another sigh, Addy gave up. "I know his is, he can't hide things well from me. Not his emotions anyway. You cannot either. Neither of you have ever been able to hide your emotions from me well." Ever since they were young kids, Addy had always been able to read the Romano twins like open books. She may have fallen for Marco first, but she and Leo had always had a special connection. "Seven years is a long time... sure we've got eternity if this war doesn't kill us but still. I feel terrible... I actually had a girl from out year in school tell me that I cannot have you both. I do not' even remember her name, but I do remember seeing her around. I am in love with you, but I do not want to lose Marco as a friend either, and I know he does not want to lose me either. I just feel so terrible that I've caused such a rift between you too."[/sub] ( WORDS ) 658 ( TAGGED ) Leo<3 ( NOTES ) They are so adorable <3 ( OUTFIT ) here ( LYRICS ) where is my head by hey monday ( CREDIT ) this template is by hannah grace of caution 2.0. don't remove credit, she will send her flying monkeys on you.[/sub][/blockquote]

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Chuckling, he took her joking in stride. ”If you wouldn’t keep buttering me up, maybe we could all live here. It told me, as a matter of fact, yesterday that it was thinking about asking you to move so it could roam more freely.” Leo loved their apartment, and it was quite spacious enough for the two of them. But Addy was right, like she always was. They would need something bigger whenever they decided to have children. A house sounded perfect – surely it would have the room they needed for a family. ”If it kicked you out, there would be enough room in the apartment.” He said teasingly. Leo knew that girls looked at him; he wasn’t unfortunate looking. But he only had eyes for Adaleen – and had for years. He never noticed anyone but her, but knowing Addy and her temper and her jealousy it wouldn’t have surprised him had she gotten into an altercation or used threats to have girls back off. Sighing, he grinned widely as she continued to tease him. That was something he loved about her – her playfulness. It helped keep their relationship fun. ”Ah yes, because your mother is a take charge kind of person. However, that would be less stress on you, especially now with the headmistress position on your shoulders.” Leo had complete faith in Addy remaining calm during the planning process. She wasn’t one to stress about things like that. The impending war, however, would cause her to stress. The lamp that had gotten broken ‘mysteriously’ had been one given to them by Addy’s mother and it was a prime example at the eclectic differences in taste that the two had. ”Just because it took us seven years doesn’t mean anything. I mean, I had to be absolutely sure I knew what I was getting myself into.” He said, looking into her eyes. ”You didn’t have to get used to it; I’m all yours and I will be until the day I die.” They settled in to finally watch the movies. Looking at her in the glow of the television, he smiled to himself. This was the life; he couldn’t see how he could ever ask for anything better. He had it all, right here in this apartment with this girl in his arms. Addy herself went out occasionally without him, and he was perfectly content with that. Yes, she had cheated on his twin brother, but if she hadn’t she may never have begun to realize that it was really Leo she belonged with. Neither had ever spoken of the events to Marco and they planned it that way for a reason. Leo knew that if his twin ever found out, it would crush him. They may not be on friendly terms, but he didn’t want his twin to ever hurt. Thinking of his twin hurt him and saddened Leo greatly. Until they had been old enough to really notice Addy in a different light, they had been best friends. ”I appreciate you trying to joke, but it’s not really going to take away what’s really going on.” He said softly. Smoothing her hair against her head, he kissed her forehead. ”You’ve always been able to read us so well.” And she had, ever since they were kids. But now, they were adults, and she still could read them just as well, if not better than before. ”The war should be the last thing on your mind, especially right now, in my arms. Aren’t they supposed to make you melt and forget all your troubles, or some crap like that?” He said with a grin. As she continued talking about Marco, he chose his words carefully. ”You think I wanted to lose him? Never, and especially not like this. But Adaleen, you cannot blame yourself. We can’t help how we feel about each other and nothing he or anyone could ever do would change that. Yeah, it sucks that we’re not really on good terms, but you are worth me losing my whole family.”

Pretending to be offended, Addy huffed and threw her hair over her shoulder. "Fine, if that's what you want. You can keep yourself company." She said and promptly slid off his lap. Addy was fully joking, but the first year she had dated Leo, she had been scared that he would find someone else and leave her. After being with him seven years though, she figured he was there for good. Thankfully the two could joke around and not get angry with each other, especially because both knew that they only wanted each other and no one else could hold a candle to them. Sure, Addy got jealous, it was one of her flaws, but she did know that Leo would never leave her she just didn't like other girls thinking they even had a chance with Leonardo Renato Romano he was hers and hers alone. Addy also had a temper that could rival the worst; it only took a lot to trigger it. Now, a girl coming onto her fiancée and trying to get with him was one of the few things that set her off quicker than most.
Finally laughing, Addy shook her head. "No, I want to plan my own wedding. Besides, Almeda and I differ in tastes quite a bit as you know. I would rather love how my wedding looks and turns out rather than wanting to get away from it the moment I could. I can handle it, promise. Besides, I'll have you there with me and Remy so it's not like I'm doing everything by myself." Addy loved the fact that her younger sister was happy to help out with the wedding plans, along with Addy's two girl best friends, Leo, and even Aurora she knew that she wouldn't stress too much over the wedding. Sticking her tongue out at him, Addy gave a mock glare. "Is your ego telling you I'm too hard to live with again?" She asked jokingly.
Addy had crawled back into Leo's lap during the movie, and after it was over she knew they were back onto the topic of Marco. "Sorry, I know it won't." Feeling him kiss her forehead, Addy sighed quietly. "Of course I have, we were all best friends from the time we were in pre-k. Not to mention, neither of you could lie to me very well even back then." She said with a small smile. Addy remembered when she first met the Romano twins. She had clung to both of them right off the bat, as she had been separated from Taylor and her other best friend as all three of them were different species, but Marco and Leo were both vampires like herself. She had been so glad to find two friends that first day of school, sure she still remained close to Taylor and their other friend, but nothing could tear her away from the Romano twins. Rolling her eyes, Addy kissed Leo's cheek and giggled. "You know I always melt in your arms, but you do the same exact thing. Besides, not all troubles can just be melted away. They can be put aside for a few moments, but they always come back after we let go." She continued to watch him, knowing he was choosing his words very carefully as they always had to do when on the subject of Marco. Shaking her head, Addy sighed. "You need your family Leo. I love you more than anything, but I still need Remy and Pollo. Sure my mum is a bit questionable at times and I'll always be my daddy's girl, but I just hate the fact that because of me you and your twin brother, someone who is such a big part of you, practically hate each other. I mean, I'd rather him be okay with you and hate me... it might have actually made me feel better about all of this." The last part was almost a whisper. No matter what they went through, Marco had always been a big part of Addy's life. She loved him, in another way than Leo, but she still loved him. It would have completely ripped her apart if he hated her, but she would rather him get along with Leo and hate her, than him hate Leo and tear him apart inside and still remain caring towards her. It was just who she was, she couldn't stand it when something she did caused someone else whom she cared about great pain and anything she did concerning the Romano twins anymore seemed to hurt the other.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Laughing, he let her slide out of his arms. ”I rather enjoy my own company. Last time I checked, however, so did you.” Leo stuck his tongue out at her playfully. He had never looked past Addy for companionship. As far as he was concerned, the day they had begun dating that was it. He had been in love with Adaleen Darcy for quite a long time – he oftentimes wondered if maybe the moment he had realized he loved her was before they had even begun dating, but he was certain it had to have been. Who else would begin dating the same girl his own brother, let alone twin, had just dated? Thankfully, Marco had no idea of Addy’s betrayal, but that still had not deterred Leo. Sure, it had set him back a bit, but it hadn’t changed his growing feelings for the girl who was now his future wife. ”Oh yes, I am well aware of how you two differ in tastes. Then again, you are two entirely separate people, so it is expected I suppose.” Now that they had finally set a date, Leo had to admit he was getting excited about their upcoming nuptials. Seven years it had taken them to get to this point, and he could not be happier with his life decisions til now. He had the love of his life by his side, an amazing life they had begun to build together, a career, and a future. ”I’m going to be happy as long as you are happy. And like I said, I’m here to help you relieve the stress you’ll probably be under as it gets closer and just tell me where and when to show up. But make sure you’re the only one there to get married. I don’t want to stand at the altar waiting on someone else – I’m in love with Adaleen Darcy, not someone else.” Standing up, he took out the first movie choice then placed the second DVD into the player before settling back onto the couch. ”You’ve been able to see right through me since we first met. That’s one reason we’re so close, you know. Since I can’t hide anything, we have no secrets. There is no one else on this Earth I have that kind of relationship with.” That statement had been true even about his twin brother. There was nothing in the world Leonardo Renato Romano wouldn’t do for his fiancée and she knew it. From the minute they had met, they had hardly been separated for very long. Sure, they both had other friends, even ones in other species, but Leo had always considered Addy to be his absolute best friend. ”That’s why I’m here for you, to help you hold on when you want to let go. We can work through our problems together, no matter what it is. I made a promise to you with that ring on your finger – I’m never going back on it.” He took her hand in his and rubbed his thumb along hers gently, as if reassuring her he would always be there, but Addy knew that. He always chose his words carefully when they were speaking about his twin brother, but there wasn’t much to be said. ”Addy, he may be a part of me, but so are you. I’d give up everything if it meant keeping you. My life wouldn’t be complete without you in it. And yes, I’d rather have you a friend than nothing at all but I couldn’t continue on this journey without you by my side. Marco may be my brother, and yes things may be complicated right now, but I knew the consequences when we started dating and do you know what? I’d do it all over again the same way.”

Addy couldn't help but laugh. Everyone knew how different she and her mother were. They were like night and day. "Yes it is." She said and thought of how her mother hadn't been too keen on letting Addy move in with her fiancee but had been so willing to hand the school over to her. 'Typical. ' Addy thought with a slight smile. Everything was moving along finally, and Addy found herself completely excited over the fact that her wedding was finally getting planned. She couldn't help but kiss Leo after he spoke again. "Honestly, do you think I'd let someone else have you? Please, I'm not going to fight all these ones off to let someone else have. The only way I'm letting go is if you tell me too... and even then I would probably go kicking and screaming. I never want to give you up, Leo. I can't and I won't." Watching his every move, Addy smiled. "I can be a very observant person when I want to be." She told him with a smirk. "Besides, I think it's good we have no secrets from each other nor can we keep them from each other." She loved her fiancée more than anything. Leo, her family, Marco, Taylor, and all of her friends meant the world to her. She didn't know what she'd do without any of them. For awhile, Addy had been afraid that she would have to live without Marco, but thankfully he forgave her for the most part and the two resumed being best friends. It was amazing how much Leo could brighten her mood with a few simple words. "You know exactly how to butter a girl up, you know that?" She smiled before kissing him softly. Sighing gently, Addy nodded. "I understand. I may not be overly close with my mother, but you know how I believe family should always come first. I guess I just don't want you throwing away your relationship with your family for anything. Not even me. I mean yes, we're going to be making a family of our own, but then again we're just adding on to our own families... I just want us all to get along so there isn't any hostility so our kids see that too. I may be thinkng too far ahead and may just be paranoid but..." can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, The only person who seemed to have had a major problem with the two of them moving in together in the first place had been her mother. It had seemed like the most logical next step if you had asked anyone else’s opinion. Leo could have waited until after they were married to live with Addy, if it was what she had truly wanted or asked of him, but they had made the decision together. Simply nodding his head at her statement, he knew there was nothing more to say on the matter of her and her mother, his future in-law. Accepting her kiss fully, he listened to what she said before responding. ”It’s a good thing you’ll never have to let go. I cannot imagine my life without you in it Adaleen, and I’m never giving up on you, or us. No kicking or screaming is necessary because you’ll never be without me – if there’s anything you can count on in this life, it’s me and my love for you.” ”It’s a good thing you don’t necessarily have to be observant, I would tell you everything regardless.” He said, sticking his tongue out at the beautiful woman beside him. Leonardo hadn’t been without Addy be his side for the better part of seven years, and since they had moved in together, they hadn’t spent a single night apart. Sure, she worked late hours at the school sometimes and arrived home late, but the point of the matter was that she was always home, with him – not out gallivanting around the town hiding out in dark corners somewhere or looking to hook up with someone else. Chuckling, he smiled as he looked at her. ”It comes naturally when I’m around you.” He and Marco’s relationship had been strained, at best, and he missed his brother – he couldn’t hide that fact from anyone. He let her words wash over him and let them sink in. Leaning against the back of the couch, he let out a huge sigh. ”Addy, you don’t think I wish things were different? Marco is just as much a part of me as you are. But yes, if it came down to it, I‘d drop anything and everything for you. I can’t wait until we have a family of our own, but that’s just it – it will be ours. Let’s just hope Marco and I can make up before then.”

Smiling at her fiancee, Addy nodded. "I can't imagine my life without you either Leo. I know I can always count on you and your love. It's one of the many things I've known for years... it just took me a little while longer to realize it." She told him with a sigh. Before, when she was with Marco, Addy thought she had everything she needed. Marco as her boyfriend and three best friends by her side. Then one day she noticed Leo as more and Marco as less. It was hard but she couldn't help it. Leo and Marco both knew her better than anyone but Leo had what Marco didn't, her heart. Sure, Marco was her first love and there would always be a place for him in her heart but Leo completely stole her heart without her even knowing it. With Marco it was a different love but with Leo, it was true love. There was no denying they were soulmates, especially after all they'd been through together and get stronger through everything.
Laughing Addy pinched Leo's cheek teasingly. "I know love. As you know I tell you everything also." It was true, Addy hated secrets even though she was still keeping one from Marco from way back when they were dating. She just couldn't keep them from Leo and that was another reason why she knew Leo had been the one for her. She could keep a secret from Marco if she felt she had too, but she never could from Leo. Even before they were dating and were just friends. Leo had always been her secret keeper and she his.
Addy heard Leo's sigh and listened to him. "I hope so too." She said quietly while tracing lines on his chest. "I really can't wait for our family to start. I want a little boy who looks just like his daddy and a little girl with her daddy's eyes. I want as many as we can have." She told him quietly before resting her head on his chest.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Never in a million years had Leonardo thought that his brother and Adaleen would begin dating. It had always just been the three of them, and one day they were a couple. It had been a real wake-up call for Leo, and like a huge slap in the face. Before, they had been like the three musketeers and no one had seemed like a third wheel but after, everything had changed. He began noticing Addy in a different light and feeling jealous of his brother. These were emotions he had never associated with him before simply because there had been no need. Marco was his twin and his best friend – what would Leo have possibly gained by coveting anything his own flesh and blood had? But it was Adaleen Darcy – she was what he coveted. His heart had started falling for her. ”Do you know how torturous it was watching you with him all that time when I knew I loved you?” He whispered against her throat as he kissed her softly. ”You’re my reason for existence.” Even after realizing he was in love with her, she still had remained his best secret keeper. After all, he knew her deepest darkest secret – he was one of only three people that did, as far as they knew of course. He felt sure that Marco had something that he had kept from either Adaleen or himself, but since they weren’t on speaking terms, and hadn’t been since the day he and Addy had came out as a couple, it was no concern of his. ”I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have you.” He whispered to her softly. He pulled her close against him and kissed her forehead gently. ”I want to buy the biggest house we can find, and fill it full of nothing but our children. I don’t care if they look like you or me or the monkey in the zoo, as long as they have your heart and drive. I want them to be the best they can be and reach their dreams. We’ll give them everything they could ever want or need.” All he could see in their future was the two of them and a family. It was all he could hope to do – make Addy’s every dream come true, and he would until his dying breath.
