The apartment was dark, which meant she was there before Leo. Giving a small sigh, Addy placed the pizza and wings on the kitchen counter. Adaleen had been very busy the last few weeks. She had been named new headmistress of Darcy Academy so she was working hard toget everything all set up for the upcoming school year. Having to do this, meant Addy hadn't gotten to spend as much time with her fiancee as she would have liked. Addy loved Leo, and it saddened her that even though they were living together and engaged, they had hardly seen each other the past two weeks. Her being couped up in the school all day and him doing whatever it was he did, they only ever saw each other at night when both were too tired to do anything other than sleep. It was such a relief when Addy realized she had no more work to do and could actually go home early for once, so she immediately called Leo but it had gone to voicemail so she left him a message saying that they should have a movie date and she would get food.
Turning on some music, Adaleen decided to dance while she cleaned until her fiancee got home. Music and dancing were one of Adaleen's passions. She loved to dance, and a good beat always got Adaleen in a good mood. Leo knew ballroom dancing, and all of the older dances, but he didn't do well with all of the knew stuff so normally when they went out Addy either danced by herself or she would drag him out and try to get him to dance. Of course, she didn't want him mad at her so she would only push until he started to get irritated, then Addy would let him leave for the table and she would listen to the music and let it take her over. Adaleen loved a good party, but she now had to be a responsible adult seeing as she was now the headmistress of Darcy Academy.
Shaking thoughts from her head, Addy opened a box of matches and lit a few candles in the room so the powerful scent of pizza didn't become too much for her and Leo's sensitive noses'. She knew that the lightly scented candles would be a better choice than the greesy smell of pizza. Grabbing a few blankets from the basket in the corner of the t.v. room, Addy set them up on the couch and deemed the room ready for her and Leo to have their alone time. The music was still going on, and Addy was once again dancing. "And I remember that fight two-thirty AM. Yes, everything was slipping right out of our hands. I ran out crying and you followed me out into the street. Braced myself for the goodbye ‘cause that’s all I’ve ever known. And you took me by surprise. You said, “I’ll never leave you alone.” You said, “I remember how we felt sitting by the water. And every time I look at you, it’s like the first time. I fell in love with a careless man’s careful daughter. She is the best thing that’s ever been mine.” You made a rebel of a careless man’s careful daughter." Addy didn't have the most amazing voice in the world, but it still held a pretty and warm tone. She didn't always sing, usually only when she was by herself or goofing off. Dancing was a whole different story though.
Adaleen was so lost in her own little world, she didn't even hear the door open.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, He had left the apartment rather quickly that afternoon. Addy had called him while he had been in the store, and without thinking, he had left his phone in his car. Upset he had missed her call, he quickly dialed his voice mail, smiling as he listened to her message. He was proud of her for her latest accomplishment – being named the new headmistress of Darcy Academy. He had been head over heels crazy in love with the girl for some time, but over the past couple weeks they hadn’t been able to spend much time together. Don’t get him wrong – falling asleep beside her was more than enough to be able to spend time with her, but he longed for the companionship they had always shared also – the closeness of them spending quality time together, despite the fact that they were both equally busy. Leonardo didn’t bother calling her back, instead he stopped by and grabbed two movies. One was a chick flick, one he knew Adaleen had talked about wanting to see when it first came out, and the other was an action flick.
Music drifted into the hallway from the apartment. He had more of an old soul to that compared of Addy, but he still went out with her whenever she asked. He didn’t mind partying, in fact he rather enjoyed it, but he’d much rather host a party at their apartment than go out to a club. She did, in turn, accompany him to various old styles of dancing whenever they came up like ballroom dancing, etc. – various events that would present themselves throughout the year. The older citizens of Garvonia were a rather lively bunch when it came to old styles of dancing, and they were thoroughly impressed that a younger citizen, much less a younger male, was interested in it.
As he stood in the hallway, her voice drifted out of their apartment. Hearing her singing made him grin all the more widely. He immediately recognized the music of Taylor Swift; she was one of Addy’s favorite artists. And not that he would ever admit it out loud to anyone, some of her songs hit home. Unlocking the door, he slowly pushed it open. The scent lingering was that of pizza that was cooking mixed with candles. He took a look around, noticing the blankets set up in the living room. Sneaking into the kitchen, he had put the movies on the coffee table. He walked up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her. ”Your singing has gotten even more beautiful than the last time I heard it.”

Feeling arms sneak around her, Addy gave a startled gasp, but quickly let out a laugh. Having smelled who it was after he put his arms around her, Addy relaxed slightly into his embrace. Turning around Addy wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips gently. "Why thank you, but you lie." She said with another giggle and kissed him again. "Pizza and wings, like promised." She pointed to the food sitting on the counter. Slipping out of his arms, Addy moved to get paper plates and napkins for them and set them on the counter next to their food. Addy had gotten Leo's favorite kind of pizza and wings, though luckily they shared the favorite in pizza, though Addy had gotten her favorite kind of wings along with Leo's. "What movies did you get?" She asked him curiously as she started placing pizza and wings on her own plate. Addy figured he probably got an action movie, seeing as she didn't mind them, but she wondered what else he got. She took a peak at the movies he had gotten and saw that he had gotten "The Art of Getting By" which was a chick flick she had wanted to see since it had come out earlier on in the summer. "Oh Leo! You remembered!" She said happily and once again wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. She loved the fact that Leo always thought of her when getting movies, she also loved how he was the perfect man for her and loved her even with her faults. The two had stood together through rough parts and eventually, though hopefully soon, Addy would be his wife. Suddenly remembering her parents cal earlier on, Addy gave a small sigh. "We got invited for dinner Saturday night with my parents, Remy, and Pollo. Mom said that Rory will probably be there too... apperantly she's been over every day and has been moody and distant. She wants me to find out if Axel's done something or if there is anything wrong." Aurora Soren, better known as "Rory," was Addy's little sisters best friend and dating one of the teachers at Darcy Academy. It had only been allowed after it was agreed that Axel wouldn't teach any more of Rory's classes and they weren't allowed to be alone in a classroom together nor were they allowed to show public displays of affection. It had been a hard time for Addy to deal with that, because she couldn't let her personal feelings on the matter get mixed in with her running of the school. Just because Aurora was her little sisters best friend didn't mean anything. She still needed to follow the rules, even though dating a teacher probably shouldn't be allowed.
Looking down at her engagement ring, Addy figured they should probably pick a date soon. They had made their parents wait for a few years already and Addy knew that she didn't want anyone other than him. "We really need to pick a date." She said with a small laugh. "I love you, have I told you that today?" she asked teasingly with her arms still wrapped around him. "I was thinking spring or maybe winter." She suggested to him quietly.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, The smell of the food had overpowered his sense of smell the closer he had gotten to the kitchen. Returning her gentle kiss, he nuzzled her neck before letting her go. ”I never lie, I only speak the truth.” He said with a grin. Reluctantly letting her loose, he waited as she sat the paper plates and napkins on the counter before automatically going to the opposite box of wings than she had opened for herself. ”Maybe we’ll eat the same kind one day – might would help us save money.” He said playfully, sticking his tongue out as he closed the box back before grabbing two slices of pizza as well. He had headed towards the living room as she asked about movies. ”Action, duh. Both of them.” He said with a playful smile. Watching her reaction as she realized he had gotten one of the movies she had not been able to shut up about wanting to see, he couldn’t help but feel proud of himself. Good job, Leo. Score one for you. He wished her lips would have lingered for more than a few seconds, but he felt grateful for any time he got with her at all. She had been so busy since becoming the new headmaster at Darcy Academy that they rarely spent true alone time together anymore. You best believe he was going to savor this night. ”Of course I remembered. Not a typical guy, remember?” Leonardo was head over heels for Adaleen, anyone could see that. They knew secrets about each other, had been through rough patches, and they were still going strong. He hadn’t proposed with the intention of getting married super fast, but he also knew Addy wouldn’t just stand to be only engaged forever. He wanted to make her his wife, the conversation had just kind of taken a back seat lately. That was one they needed to have face to face, but face time had been rare to come by as of late. Listening to her statement about dinner, he nodded his head. ”Dinner Saturday with your family sounds fantastic. Perhaps you can talk to Rory a little better one on one there than trying to catch her at school or something.” Leo had grown to adore Remy, Addy’s little sister, and her best friend Rory. He thought of both of them as little sisters, seeing as how all he had was his twin brother and they weren’t exactly on the best of terms since Leo had begun dating his ex girlfriend and would one day marry her. Sighing, he kissed her forehead. ”You know I hate these discussions.” He said with a shrug. ”And I’m going to tell you exactly what I tell you every single time. I’m fine with whenever you want to get married. Season doesn’t matter, location doesn’t matter. As long as it’s you I’m marrying, I don’t care.” Wrapping his arms around her waist after setting his plate on the coffee table, he looked down into her eyes. ”I love you too Adaleen.”

“Okay, Leo. Whatever you say babe.“ She said with a big smile. Addy knew her voice was decent, but she liked to joke around with Leo about herself. Addy laughed and nodded. “Maybe, but I don’t think I’ll ever like hot wings. I like my honey Italian thanks.” She said just as playfully and stuck her own tongue out at him. “Maybe you can learn to like honey Italian wings.“ She added with a playful wink. Adaleen had never really liked spicy food, though she could eat spicy salsa and occasionally a certain type of spicy chili, but that was basically it. She liked the sweet taste of honey Italian wings. Her father had actually made her try them when she was younger and had instantly liked them. She ate other wings occasionally, but it was very obvious that honey Italian were her favorite type of wings.
“True, I’m the luckiest girl in the world, I have you all to myself.“ She said smiling happily, Adaleen counted her lucky stars. She knew she was lucky to have a guy like Leo, not many guys were like him. He knew exactly how to make her happy in everyway, though of course they got in fights like every couple but they were able to work them out fairly quickly. Adaleen had every intention of spending every second she could with Leo tonight. She missed being able to spend almost all her time with him before taking the rule of being Headmistress, but of course Addy had always wanted the job, she just expected to get it later in life when she had her own kids and had taught for more than two years. Of course, a Darcy had always run the school and Addy’s mother wanted to teach again so Addy took the position happily, but wished that she had more time for Leo.
Nodding her head, Adaleen took a bite of pizza and turned the big plasma TV on so they could start Leo’s movie first. “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. She’s always so busy in school it would be hard to catch her during a free time. I’d probably have to take her out of a class to actually talk to her and I don’t think that’d be a good idea. You know how she is if she misses any school.” Aurora Soren was a very good student, who somewhat obsessed over her grade and was Addy’s little sisters best friend. Adaleen was proud of how hard Rory worked in school, but she always wished that her sister would take her grades as seriously but she was just happy that her sister was passing.
Giving a sheepish grin, Addy pretended to pout. “I know, but I want you to have some say in this. It is our wedding after all, not just mine. Besides, it‘s no fun planning it all by myself. I want you to help me.” She said still sporting a cute pout. Placing her own plate next to his, Addy climbed onto her fiancee’s lap and gently kissed his neck and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. “Love you more.” She said playfully and held onto him tightly.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, ”You know I only speak the truth.” He said with a grin. This was a never ending battle with his fiancée, the girl he loved more than life itself. Although the war was only ever in fun, sometimes it got to be annoying when she beat herself up over nothing. Sticking his tongue out at her, he smirked. ”But my hot wings are like amazing. I bet if we could get them to merge the hot sauce with your honey Italian sauce, the wings would be marvelous.” He said. He had been raised eating spicy food – his father had taught him it was a man’s way of eating food. Luckily, the spiciness of food was about the only thing he and Addy disagreed on. They got along so well it was rather strange actually.
”But what about me? I’ve got you all to myself.” He said with an eager smile. He could never express her just how truly lucky he in fact was to have her. Addy was a determined, beautiful, strong, and intelligent young woman. She had just gotten the position as Headmistress of Darcy Academy, and at such a young age. He had felt certain they would have been married, popped out a couple of kids, and been teaching together for a few years before such a daunting task was presented to his future bride. He did, however, have no doubts that she would succeed at the job.
He had popped his movie in the DVD player before they had sat down, so all she had to do was grab the remote to start the movie and turn on the TV. As she did that, he took a big bite of the pizza. ”Yeah I do, that’s why I suggested talking to her at your parents. She only missed one class last term for me and she was flailing the whole rest of the semester, from one class! But then again, that has to come from her wanting to be such a good student so she obsesses over things like that.” He exclaimed softly. He cared deeply for Addy’s family, and that included Aurora. It was like love Addy, love Addy’s family – they were a package deal.
Laughing to himself, he wrapped his arms around her as she sat in his lap. He kissed her softly. ”Well Addy bug, if you want me to help, I shall. Although I don’t particularly care as long as you tell me when and where to show up.” Winking playfully, he added teasingly. ”And make sure it is YOU walking down the aisle. Don’t be sending me to the wrong place.”

"Of course you only speak the truth,so what about how my good vase got broken last week? It just fell off the counter on it's own if I'm not correct." she said with a teasing grin. She had went to the school early in the morning and came home to find Leo sweeping up the remains of a very old and expensive, and now broken, vase. She hadn't really cared, sure she had been slightly upset that it was broken, but she had honestly never really liked the vase. She just kept it because her mother had given it to her. Acutally, her mother had been more upset than she had when she heard the vase had smashed. Scrunching her nose up at the thought of spicey honey italian wings, Addy laughed and shook her head. "No thanks, that sounds gross."
Giggling happily, Addy kissed his nose. "Of course you have me all to yourself, you know I don't share well and I know you don't share well either." Addy sometimes wished that she had been able to settle down and have kids before getting the position of Headmistress, but her mother for once had been special and decided she didn't want to run the school anymore and wanted to teach again. Addy knew she wanted kids one day, she had never really talked about how many she wanted though. She didn't even know how many children Leo wanted. "Leo, how many kids do you want?" She asked him curiously. "And I want you to be serious, not however many I want."
Addy laughed and nodded. "Yeah, that sounds just like what she did when she missed my class last year. Of course she continued to make sure everyday that she had the highest grade. I just hope nothing bad has happened to her, or even worse I hope that she and Axel haven't started a fight again. Do you remember when they broke up a few months ago? I thought I was going to have to get into her dreams to calm her down there for awhile...though I did have to stop a few night terrors." Adaleen did not entirely like the idea of one of her staff dating one of her students, but there was really nothing she could do when he didn't teach Rory and he got a signed legal document from Rory's parents.
Grinning playfully, Addy kissed his neck and looked up at him. "I don't like sharing, there's no way I'd let another woman marry you. Not after the past seven years. There's just no way I'd let some hoochy have you. You're mine whether you like it or not." She said while playing with her engagment ring. Lifting up slightly to reach his lips, Addy kissed him deeply while wrapping her one arm around his neck and using her free hand to play with his hair.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Grinning sheepishly, he nodded his head. ”I told you, I was all the way on the other side of the apartment when that happened.” He had tried his best to get it cleaned up before she ever got home, but it had been to no avail. When she had gotten home, he had explained the best he could, and he had felt awful about it because he knew how much it meant to her mother. He didn’t want to have a bad relationship with his mother in law. He felt sure he was already in hot water enough considering the two still were not married after seven years of dating. He laughed and kissed her cheek. ”You know I eat just about anything, so I bet I would find them quite delicious.”
”You got that right.” He never would share her, if it was up to him. They had had a rough start in getting to trust one another, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Addy would make a fine mother, whenever she had kids. Leo knew it would be with him, and their babies would be the most loved things on the face of the Earth. Oh no, the dreaded question. He had never really thought about it, he had just assumed they would have them and however many they had would be how many they would raise. ”As many as we can.” He said teasingly, kissing her forehead softly. Sighing, he sat back on the couch. ”I don’t know Adaleen, I never really thought about it. I do like practicing though.” He said, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
The whole ordeal of getting Rory removed from Axel’s classes and then the signed document had been a nightmare, one he didn’t particularly want to relive. Sighing, he nodded. ”Yes, I remember all to well. But let’s not talk about that, shall we?” Addy had been a wreck over that and he had hated seeing her that way. When she was upset, so was he and he hated when she was. He smiled and looked down at her. ”You’re the only hoochy for me.” He said teasingly, wrapping his arms around her waist. ”I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only person for me in this world is you, it’s only ever been you.” He whispered in her ear.

Rolling her eyes, though still grinning, Addy shook her head and waved her finger at him. "And I told you, I don't believe that for one minute. You even threw the peices away in the garbage instead of taking them out back!" She said teasingly and kissed hisnose. "It's okay, I still love you even though you can never hide anything from me... in fact that just reassures me, not that I ever doubt, that you won't be able to hide things from me." Addy had honestly hated the stupid thing, in fact she had tried telling her mother she didn't want it, but her mother would have none of that and made her take it. Addy had taken it, though tried to keep it out of her sight, at least as much as possible, and then put it out "proudly" when her mother came over. Nodding her head, Addy knew that was true. Her Leo would eat just about anything, which was good because she tended to like to experiment when she cooked, and most of the time it ended up good, but you always had the occasional... not so good.
Sharing definetly was out of the picture for both Addy and Leo, Addy knew that he would never cheat on her and she knew that she would never cheat on him. She loved him too much and valued him too much to even think of another man that way. Listening to his answer, Addy thought about it. She honestly didn't know how many kids she wanted either, she just knew that she wanted a family, big if possible. She did laugh and playfully push him away when he said he liked to practice. Of course, she loved the practice too, but Addy also knew that if she became pregnant before she was married her father would kill Leo and her mother would kill her. "Believe me, I know you do Leo." She whisphered against his neck.
Nodding, Addaleen decided to let it go for now. She knew it probably wasn't really the time and place to discuss such things, especially not when she was on the subject of kids and marriage, and how Leo liked to practice. Raising her eyes, Addy faked hurt and sadness. "So I'm a hoochy now? Is that what you really think of me?" Of course, she quickly laughed it off, as she had only been joking. Smiling and giggling as she felt his breath on her ear, Addy turned her head and kissed Leo's jaw gently. "Good, because I'm not letting you go anytime soon."

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Smirking, he shrugged his shoulders as if to say Oops, what can you do? He playfully acted like he was to bite her finger and grinned sheepishly. ”Do you know how far of a walk out back is?” He said, using his hands to animatedly describe the walk. It wasn’t really all that long, he was, of course, just picking on her. They had that kind of relationship, which he was HIGHLY thankful for. He knew how much she lovedhated the lamp her mother had given them. It really had clashed with the apartment in any case, not that they would have admitted that to her. Leo really didn’t want to get on his future mother-in-law’s bad side. ”You are exactly correct, I can’t keep anything from you, ever. You just have this goodness about you that makes me want to just tell you the truth all the time my beautiful Adaleen.”
He felt as though she always cooked excellent, and even the days when her cooking conoctions may have been not so pleasant, he wouldn’t dare so say. He may have been a man, but he wasn’t stupid. He liked being alive and not planning a funeral. Leo only had eyes for Addy, and she knew, after seven years, it was going to stay that way for the rest of his life. He laughed softly. ”I know you do too my little vampiress.” He said, playfully nipping at her neck. He couldn’t wait to have children with Addy, but they both knew it was better to wait. They would happen when they were meant to.
Axel and Rory were a touchy subject, especially for Addy since her little sister and Rory were best friends. Sighing, he kept his arms wrapped around her and kissed her head softly. ”Of course I think you’re a hoochy. That’s why I’m marrying you.” He said, with a playful wink. ”There’s no where else I’d rather be than with you.”

Retreating her finger and laughing, Addy loved how playful Leo and her could be. It made their relationship much more interesting and happy. Laughing at his laziness, Addy poked his chest. "Oh yes, it's sooo far away. You ride an elevator down the floors and walk a few lowsy feet out the back door." She said teasingly. "You're so lazy Leo." of course, Leo wasn't really lazy but she loved to tease him saying he was. Smiling brightly, Addy kissed him lightly. "Thank you for admitting that. I love you."
Addy had always loved to cook, she learned from her father and her mother, though her father had done most of the cooking. When Leo nipped her neck Addy couldn't help but giggle. "Of course I do. I have a hot fiancee who drives me absoultely crazy, who I love more than anything." She really did love him and she trusted him more than anyone on the Earth. He was the one who stood by her through everything, even all of her mistakes and stupid decisions. Addy couldn't wait to have kids, but since taking the position of Headmistress and not even being married yet, she knew it was best to wait for a small while.
Glaring and smacking his chest, Addy stuck her tongue out at him. "Gee thanks, so does that mean when we go out I can wear those really short dresses and hooker boots?" She was teasing of course, she would rather die than be caught looking like that. She didn't need guys looking at her like she was a piece of meat and trying to get with her thinking she was easy for dressing up like that. She had Leo and she loved him, she didn't need any guys coming up to her and asking for her number. "Good, because I like being with you. We'd have a problem if you had somewhere else you'd want to be" She said with a smile.

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Pouting, he looked to her, his lip poked out and all. ”But Addy, the walk to the elevator takes forever! And then I have to wait on it to get here, and then push buttons WHILE holding the trash, then lift the door to the trash can, not to mention opening and closing the back door.” He laughed gently, tucking her into his arms. Their relationship hadn’t been easy, but everything had been worth it because he was marrying her… if they ever set a date. He’d waited seven years, surely a couple more wouldn’t kill him. Feeling her lips on his sent an electric shock through his body, as it always did. ”I love you too.” He said simply. Smirking, his hand slid down her back to rest on the back of her thigh. ”Maybe we should watch the movies tomorrow, you’ve kind of gotten me all excited now.” He said with a wink. He was only joking, of course, at least partially. He loved being able to spend time with Addy and although he knew premarital sex wasn’t exactly frowned upon at how flippant it was in today’s society, he knew he’d rather spend the time he could cuddling with his future wife than just another few moments lost in bed. They could do that anytime, it was rare he had her all to himself like this. Looking shocked, he rubbed the spot on his chest. ”That hurt, and of course you can! But remember, guys can only look – no touching. Can’t get up in that for free.” He said with a smirk. He loved being able to tease her – they’d always had that kind of relationship. Secretly, he was jealous. Addy may not always see it, but he did – the looks she would get everytime they went out, and if he could have read minds he knew exactly what he would hear. ”Not at this moment in time, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.” He said, kissing her nose. Standing, he grabbed their discarded plates. ”Do you want something else because I do?”

Addy couldn’t help but laugh at how her fiancée looked and when he spoke it just made her laugh even harder. "Wow Leo, you really are lazy! Why am I getting the feeling that you can’t wait until we have kids and they are old enough to take the trash out themselves? " She poked him while he tucked her into his arms. Their relationship had been hard and even more so because Addy had come between to brothers unintentionally and she had cheated on his brother and of course there was going to be doubt as if she would do it to him, but Addy had done everything in her power to show Leo that she could never do that to him. She loved him too much to even think about cheating on him. She hadn’t even really meant to cheat on Marco, but she had and she still felt guilty for it. She cherished him too much though to tell him, yet she knew she probably should. Setting a date was the only thing that kept Addy and Leo from being married, but the two were just so busy it was hard to catch a day they were both at home, awake, and/or willing to sit down and talk about that instead of just wanting to be together without talking about any of that stuff. When they got a moment together, most of the time they just wanted to spend that moment together without much thinking.
It did still make her blush to know the effect she had over Leo, but she knew that they could do that any time they wanted. She just wanted to spend some time cuddle and watch TV on their few hours of peace together. "Sorry, about that. " She said with a giggle. She knew he was joking, because he felt the same way about spending their free time together instead of just a round or two in the sheets. Sure, Addy’s parents were old fashioned and didn’t like the fact that Addy and Leo lived together and they may have been old fashioned but that didn’t mean they were naïve. They knew that Addy and Leo slept together, sure they didn’t agree with it but there really wasn’t anything they could do about it. She may be their daughter, but she was also twenty-five, a respected teacher, and for the most part a mature young woman (though that could be questioned sometimes, especially by the people who knew her during her rebellious stage).
Shaking her head and rolling her eyes, Addy couldn’t help but laugh. "Sorry, I’m not going to dress like a slut. Knowing guys, especially the ones who live four floors down, would try to touch. I don’t feel like breaking fingers, hands, or arms and I really don’t feel like having to explain to my father and the council as to why you’ve killed a human who tried to sleep with me just because I dressed like that. " Addy did have to grin happily at his words though. It was nice to know that he didn’t want to be anywhere else than with her. As he kissed her nose, Addy moved off his lap, as she could tell he was about to stand. Shaking her head, Addy just watched him. "No, I’m not really all that hungry anymore. I’ll probably wake up at midnight or something to get something… oh and that reminds me. One of us has to go and get some blood from the blood bank, we’re kind of running low on supplies. " She told him while finally getting off the couch and opening the little fridge next to the big fridge to show him just how low they were. There was hardly enough to last them the next two days, and since there were two of them it could be even less. "So one of us will have to go tomorrow either before or after we head over to the school. I might even just go when I go for my morning jog. "

can you feel this magic in the air? it must have been the way you kissed me, Hearing her question, Leo held up his arms. ”In my defense, I thought that was the reason you have children.” He said with a grin. Whispering in her ear, he redeemed himself. ”But of course, I would never treat our children in such a manner because any part of you is something I love and would treat with delicacy.” He said, kissing her neck tenderly. Leo and Marco had hardly spoken since he and Addy had begun dating. The engagement, of course, had only made it worse. It hurt Leo that he and Marco had not really spoken, but what could he do? He’d tried to reach out a couple of times, but to no avail. They were civil to each other if they ever even saw each other, and had had a couple of more serious encounters. He had never breathed a word of the cheating to Marco, because he felt as though it wasn’t his place. It was Addy’s mistake to own up to his, not his story to tell, but hers kind of deal. He was disappointed in himself for them not having set a date already – at this rate, he knew both of their parents ever wondered if they were really going to get married. His parents were not as old fashioned as Addy’s, which was entirely surprising. Coming from an Italian background, sure there were certain unbreakable rules but they also understood that their children had certain desires that just couldn’t hold off until properly married. His parents had even encouraged the two to move in together, just to be certain they were going to make it. He couldn’t have imagined marrying Addy and then moving in – there were some things you needed to learn about somebody BEFORE you married them, and a lot of times those only came out when you were around them 24/7. Not that Leo and Addy were, but you get the picture. ”Yeah, real sorry I bet. Come show me just how sorry you are.” He said with a wink in her direction. Laughing, he looked to her. ”Dear, no one said a word about killing anyone. Although the breaking hands, arms, and fingers part does sound about right. Maybe clawing some eyes out as well. What you see in the mirror everyday is mine, all of it. Mine, mine, mine.” He said, satisfied. The guys four floors down often looked after Adaleen as she walked by and Leo would simply glare at them all as they turned to face him as he kept pace behind her. They didn’t do it to often anymore, which was a good thing. He really didn’t want to have to threaten anyone. Looking into the fridge as she opened it, he moaned. He hated when they were running low. ”Well my little planner, since you’re so on top of everything all the time all day long, I think you picking up some on your jog in the morning sounds like a perfect plan. You can even take my insulated backpack.” He said nodding.

Hitting him in the chest, knowing he was joking, Addy rolled her eyes at him. Of course, when he spoke again and kissed her neck, she quickly melted. She hadn't been angry at him, knowing he had been teasing, but it was fun to let him think she was angry with him. Yet he knew exactly how to get back in her good graces, no matter the situation or if she was really even mad at him. "Good answer. You might have been sleeping on the couch all alone had you not redeemed yourself there." She said with a laugh. "Okay, if we went with spring, we'd have longer to set everything up. I think I like spring, more. We could get married in May with all the pretty flowers blooming." Addy had now set herself on Spring, and all she had to do was talk/force Leo into it.
Rolling her eyes, Addy pushed him away. "Calm down there boy, that can be saved for later." She replied with her own wink. The two were very playful with each other, that much was for certain, Addy liked that fact though. Of course, she wasn't as playful in front of people, she had a reputation she had to fix and keep first. It was no lie the school board questioned Adaleen taking over the school with her rebellious record of parties, street racing, and clubbing, but they could not deny when she needed to be she could be a very respectable and trustworthy person. Adaleen took her job very seriously and knew she had to clean her ways up quickly to keep her job, which she did. Of course, she missed being wild and reckless, but she loved her job too much to risk it, and now that she was headmistress of the entire school she had even more pressure added onto what she already had.
"Still, they'd probably have a heart attack. Humans think we're myths and legends, love." Most humans on Garvonia had no idea that they lived so close to what they deemed mythical or magical creatures. Sure, a select few new, but they were controlled by the council which Adaleen's father was apart of. The council took care of any human who tried to tell their secret, and most times the human was never seen again. Yes, there were ones like Aurora who had the ability to alter memories and make people believe something, but there was always that chance that the human could start remembering. The council didn't like to take a life, but sometimes it was necessary to keep the three small races alive. Their numbers were not what they used to be, and with another war coming on, they were just about to get lower.
Nodding her head, Addy wrote a note and put it on the fridge that said: "Get Leo's insulated backpack, take on jog, and get b." After doing that, Addy reached in the refridgerator and grabbed an apple before jumping on the counter and setteling herself in. "So, I think we need to watch those movies now." She said with a grin, now once again excited to watch the movies Leo had brought home with him.
Then thinking of who she wanted at the wedding, she thought of Marco and how she had actually ran for coffee with him the week before. "Did I tell you I went for coffee with Marco the last week? He asked about the wedding and if we had set a day yet, but I told him we hadn't which is the truth, though I am going to talk you into May. Anyway, he seemed okay... still upset though which of course made me feel horrid. I'm a horrible person, but I can't help my feelings..." Addy could be an emotional person when things and or people close to her were sad or in danger, and Marco was still one of her best friends.
